Ordering & Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing Cedar Cove Farm. We're an Amish family dairy and we take real pride in what we send out. These policies exist to make sure every order arrives right and every customer is taken care of fairly.

ORDERING POLICIES

You Can Edit Your Order Before the Deadline

Changed your mind? Want to add something? No problem. You can edit your order anytime before the deadline. You won't receive a confirmation email for changes -- just know that whatever is in your cart when the deadline passes is what gets packed for you. One order per order cycle.

No Changes or Cancellations After the Deadline

Once the order deadline passes, we can't accept changes or cancellations. Here's why: we're packing real raw dairy from a real farm on a tight schedule, and timing matters for quality. We appreciate your understanding.

Out of Stock Items

Inventory can occasionally be off. If something becomes unavailable after you've ordered, we'll reach out by email or phone. If we hear back from you within 3 hours we can substitute with something else. If we don't, we'll remove the item and adjust your total. If your order qualified for free shipping, we'll honor it -- the mistake is on us. Any changes will be noted in your final order email.

DELIVERY

You're Responsible for Receiving Your Delivery

Please unpack your order the same day it arrives. Inspect everything promptly and get perishables into the fridge right away -- milk should be stored at 33°F to 35°F at the back of the fridge. If something is missing from your order, that's on us. If an item spoils because it wasn't unpacked in time, we can't take responsibility for that.

Please note: we are not responsible for delays or damage caused by shipping carriers once the order has left our farm.

PAYMENT

When You're Charged

We accept all major credit and debit cards. You'll be asked to add a card on file when you place your first order. Your card is charged the day after the order deadline -- not when you place it. 

If Your Card Is Declined

If your card is declined, you'll receive an email notification. Please resolve the issue or reach out to us within 24 hours. We will not send your order until payment has gone through. If card declines are a recurring issue, we reserve the right to  deactivate your account.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

All Sales Are Final

We do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered. This protects the safety and quality of our dairy for every customer.

If Something Isn't Right

We stand behind everything we ship. If you receive a product that is defective, spoiled, or not as described, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. We'll make it right.

Situations we'll address:

  • Defective or damaged products that occurred before the order reached you.
  • Incorrect items -- if you received the wrong product, we'll issue store credit, a refund, or a replacement as appropriate.

How to Reach Us

To report an issue, contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. Please include your name, order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
